My "Rebel"

It's official! Jon is a University of Nevada Las Vegas Rebel! He officially started graduate school today. (Public Health) All I've been hearing out of his mouth for months is how excited he is to start school again. He tells me that if being a student was a career "sign me up" Jon has always enjoyed school and learning. I wish I could say the same thing. To be honest I think I enjoyed the social aspect of school a whole lot better than actual school itself. Jon is the complete opposite. He loves the lectures, note taking, reading in text books, etc...

I am so lucky to have a husband that works so hard to provide for me and Keira. He is successful in everything he does and I know that he will be an amazing graduate student. Here is a picture of his first official day of school. Again, please don't mind my crazy lookin child. She decided to rip her pigtails out of her hair and this is a result of that.

Home Sweet Home

I have finally taken some pictures of our new place here in Henderson, NV (Vegas) We moved to the Firenze Apartments, almost 1100 sq feet, 2 bed, 2 bath, 2 walk in closets, huge storage closet in our apartment, granite counter tops, washer/dryer room, luxury bath tubs, 2 pools, and gym. We love our new home! We live in such a nice area and we are close to everything! Literally, we have every store, restaurant, mall, etc...right down the street. We were originally going to rent a house while living here, but to make the LONG story short-that didn't work out. We needed a place fast and Jon felt that we needed to move here. Below are some pictures of apartment 1052. Please forgive me for not cleaning up before taking the pictures and please ignore my half naked daughter. I was getting her ready to go the the pool.

Up, Up and Away...

It has been such a long time since I've posted anything. Sorry! Life has been pretty busy and crazy the past few weeks. I have been preoccupied with packing up our place in Washington and moving to Las Vegas. We made it here safe and sound. I'll post some pictures of our new place later when I have the time. Just wanted everyone to know that we made it here, we're alive and it's freakishly hot here!
