Happy Anniversary

3 years ago today, at this very moment I was preparing to leave the Hilton Hotel to meet my future husband at the San Diego Temple to be sealed for time and all eternity. Jon and I have been through a lot since that day, both good and bad. We've had our disagreements and not seeing eye to eye on certain subjects. We've had our ups and downs; but who hasn't? We have learned a tremendous amount through trial and error how to make our marriage successful. Our ways of handling things may not work for everyone, but it works for us and that is all that matters. We have had many wonderful and exciting moments in our marriage. We have seen each others success' and accomplishments. We have welcomed our beautiful baby girl Keira. Because of Jon, we were given the opportunity to move here to Washington. Because of his hard work and dedication to Keira and I-he is giving us the opportunity to see and live in different parts of the country. He is my best friend, my constant companion, the father to my daughter, my life. I look forward to spending many, many, many more years with him. I can't imagine eternity without him by my side. Love you Dork Face!

Independence Day part2

We had a fun filled fourth of July. We started off the morning with yummy Pancakes and eggs. Not just ordinary pancakes, but delicious Canadian Coyote Pancake mix. Since Jon is half Canuck, he enjoys the Yummy treats of the "motherland" and tries to implement his tasty treats into our household. It is by far my favorite pancake mix and if you're ever in Canada, you must purchase a bag..Okay, enough of Canada. :)

We relaxed most of the day and simply spent time together as a family. Around 1:30ish I was busy in the kitchen preparing for our BBQ. 3:30 came around and we met up with our friends Leigh and Jason and their beautiful baby girl Haily down at the pool. We were so happy that no one else decided to go swimming. We had the entire pool, Hot tub, all to ourselves. It was a gorgeous day-Not too hot, but still hot mind you. But not "I'm going to melt" hot. Jon did an amazing job at the BBQ (as usual) We had us some yummy BBQ Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Seven Layer Dip/Chips, Fresh Pineapple, Strawberries, Potato Salad, and Brownies. YUMMY IN THE TUMMY!!! After stuffing our faces, we all went swimming!!!! Time flies by when we hang out with our friends. They are so much fun to be around and we appreciate all that they do for us.

Every Fourth of July, the park by the river has an amazing firework show, events, etc...However it didn't start until 10pm..And for all of those people who know Jon, know that he is a grandpa and is IN bed at 8:30-9pm. So we had to scratch that off our list. However when he was snoring away at 9:30, I was able to watch the firework show off our balcony. We love this country and we know how blessed we are to live here. "God Bless America!"

Moving

For those of you who know me, know that I'm an organized freak. I get that from my mama. So we are planning on moving from Washington to Las Vegas in about a month. Naturally, I'm already starting to pack things up and really trying to make the whole moving process as easy as possible. When we moved out here to Washington from Idaho we barely got all our possessions into the moving truck. We realized that we HAVE to upgrade once we move again. It's truly amazing how much you accumulate over a nine month period. I've decided that I'm going to go through every single box, suitcase, and bag that we have in our storage closet to try and eliminate things we don't even use. That way we can more room for our important things that need to get unto the truck. ie: Keira & Me! :) I don't enjoy packing...but its something you just have to do. Keira on the other hand LOVES it. She loves getting into anything and everything! Her personal favorite is climbing up on boxes and jumping on it. This picture was taken last year right before we moved from Idaho to Washington. This is the one time where she wasn't thrilled with the idea of us moving. She got a little stuck.

Attack of the Bubbles

Who would have thought that a little girl would be terrified of a bubble bath...
During her bubble bath...

After mommy got rid of the bubbles

What a difference Huh?

"Poop Diving"

For those of you who have a weak stomach-don't read! Okay, so Keira has always been interested in her Poop...Gross, I know. For the past 2-3 weeks I have been waking up every morning to this horrible smell. That smell means she got into her diaper and has decided to smear her poop all over herself, her crib, her blankets, her stuffed bear (which she calls Tee Tee), and needless to say, it's a mess! Last week I said "No more!!! I can't do this anymore!!!" I was constantly washing her sheets and constantly giving her baths. Mama threw in the towel. But how could I fix this problem? It's way too hot here to put sweat pants on her, I'm not going to put tape around her tush so she couldn't reach in and find some gold. Then I thought "1980's workout outfit..That would work..." You know, put the diaper on first, then the pants, then the onesie. We dress her like this every night and it has been a success. She cannot reach in, and all is well. No more Poop Diving!

Finally

Thanks to my old Roomie Val, I was able to learn how to Blog. She was so patient with me and answered all my questions. Thanks Val! You Rock! So I'm going to try my best to keep everyone updated with all the latest events, pictures, etc...We look forward to sharing our lives with all of you.
